As a company specializing in providing support services for orthodontists, we seized an opportunity to collaborate with a world-class dental products company - Colgate to serve dentists. While both professions involve treating teeth, their objectives differ. How often have you heard your dentist suggest, "I recommend seeing an orthodontist for a perfect smile," even if it's just a matter of 2-3 misaligned teeth? Imagine a platform that aids dentists in formulating orthodontic plans for less complex cases – wouldn't that be beneficial for both dentists and their patients?

With feedback from marketing and tech teams, I realized there could be a better way for patient retention.
The platform will categorize prospective patients based on whether their orthodontic issues are temporary or permanent, allowing dentists to save cases involving temporary health conditions and resume treatment planning once those issues are resolved.

With the help of AI technology, a treatment plan will be generated automatically first. Then user can use the 3D workspace to review and modify the plan. After carefully talk with product manager and the machine learning team, we decided to include five main things inside the workspace.

Me and my team together interviewed 9 dentists and their assistants with the prototype through zoom. We got even more confident with the service provided to these specialists after conversation since they believe we solved the problem they're facing right now. But there always be some feedback that help us to bring the design to a even better level.
